BACKGROUND:
Dr. Natha received training in various settings such as Harbor UCLA Medical Center, Long Beach Mental Health, and a college campus (PCC) where she worked with a diverse and broad population of individuals with a variety of diagnoses and concerns. Dr. Natha was trained in advanced cognitive behavioral therapies at Harbor UCLA Medical Center. She worked with mothers who had substance abuse issues and conducted developmental testing with infants exposed to substances during pregnancy. Dr. Natha also contributed to research endeavors at Harbor UCLA Medical Center, where she conducted neuropsychological testing with adolescents diagnosed with HIV.
Her post-doctoral training took place at a Luxury Malibu rehab center (residential drug and alcohol rehab center) where she conducted individual, family, couples, and group therapy with individuals struggling with chemical dependency and dual diagnosis (anxiety, depression, loss and grief, and trauma). She gained private practice experience under the supervision of the clinical director during this time as well.
Dr. Natha was offered a management role as Acting Clinical Director at Inspire Malibu where she collaborated in developing and structuring addiction programs (residential, PHP, IOP) for the facility, managed clinical staff, and continued therapy with clients struggling with addiction and other co-occurring mental health disorders (trauma, anxiety, and depression). Inspire Malibu has been featured in Los Angles Times, Forbes, ABC, FOX, and Wall Street Journal. During her time at the Malibu facilities, Dr. Natha has had the pleasure of treating clients from all around the United States and abroad.
Dr. Natha is the founder and director of Oceanside Psychology Clinic in Redondo Beach. Dr. Natha also serves as primary therapist at Oro House Recovery Centers in Malibu, which has been ranked the top rehab in California by Newsweek.
Dr. Natha is a trauma survivor herself. Her personal experiences with trauma recovery also contribute and provide meaning to her therapeutic work. In her free time, she enjoys traveling to Europe and spending time with her husband and daughter.
